Students are required to:
- Keep their camera on for the full duration of the class
- Have a functional microphone
- Participate actively when prompted by the instructor
- Engage in breakout rooms, pair work, and group activities
“Listen-only” participation is not permitted.
Students must attend classes from a stable and appropriate environment conducive to learning. Attending class from a moving vehicle, noisy public space, or any setting that prevents meaningful participation is not allowed.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the session.

All students must maintain respectful, inclusive, and professional behavior during Group Classes.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Disruptive behavior
- Repeated refusal to participate
- Harassment or discriminatory remarks
- Offensive or inappropriate language
- Interrupting instructors or classmates in a way that disrupts learning
- Any behavior that compromises the learning environment
SpanishVIP supports freedom of expression and encourages meaningful discussion as part of language learning. Group Classes may include conversations about cultural topics, real-life scenarios, and everyday situations to help expand vocabulary and communication skills.
However, Group Classes are not intended to serve as a forum for debates on sensitive or polarizing topics. Students are expected to refrain from initiating or engaging in discussions related to:
- Political ideologies or political figures
- Religious beliefs or doctrinal debates
- Controversial current events
- Personal attacks or strongly opinionated commentary that may create tension
The primary purpose of Group Classes is language development in a respectful and collaborative environment. Discussions that generate conflict, discomfort, or division among participants may be redirected or stopped at the instructor’s discretion.
SpanishVIP reserves the right to intervene when classroom conduct negatively impacts the group experience.
5.3 Progressive Disciplinary Measures #
For minor or first-time infractions, SpanishVIP may:
- Issue a verbal reminder during class
- Provide a written warning
- Contact the student through the Student Success Team
Repeated or continued violations may result in temporary or permanent suspension from Group Classes without refund eligibility.

In cases of serious misconduct, including but not limited to:
- Harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Verbal abuse
- Threatening behavior
- Account sharing
- Intentional disruption of the class
- Repeated non-compliance with participation rules
SpanishVIP reserves the right to immediately terminate access to Group Classes without prior warning.

- No eligibility for refund, credit, or extension
Access revocation under this section constitutes a consequence of breach of policy and does not represent a service failure.
